Dart Rats at Dungeon Fest 2026

What happened

Nobody prepared anything. That's the point. You get a stat block in about two minutes and learn the rest off the bodies. Plenty of people at that table had never rolled a die in their life. They caught on fast, mostly because their first shitty buddy died fast.

The blocks we ran

We were on the fest's Saturday board only. Two blocks, six seats a block.

Afternoon block

Dungeon Fest books bands, not just tables. Three acts closed out Saturday night, loud enough to cover the sound of a rat dying. Go give them money.

Cultist shared our shit the next day and their drummer immediately asked to play. That's how this works now apparently.

Whose fest this is

Dungeon Fest is independent. A handful of Calgary people wanted a weekend like this to exist so they built one, then handed a floor spot to a game nobody had heard of and asked for nothing back. Invite us again. Please.
